Trust is the miracle

Today’s word of edification is direct and simple.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding. – Proverbs 3:5

Trusting God and the holy spirit is the one universal aspect of our faith journey for children of God and followers of Christ.

It was ultimately a lack of trust in the instructions and directions God left for Adam and Eve that brought about the separation between God and man.

As children of God, families of God and Nations of God in Christ, reestablishing trust with the divine spirit that is God is our wilderness journey or Damascus Road experience.

God wants us to trust his spirit within us before we trust the mirages of this world. God wants us to know that the divine spirit of God within us will never leave us or betray us.

People will leave you. People will betray you. The world will celebrate you today and crucify you tomorrow. The divine spirit of God will not. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.

What is that same?

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.John 3:17

The invitation to reestablish our trust in God was extended by the offering of Christ, the son of God into this world. As heirs of salvation through Jesus Christ, we must stand firm in our trust that God is the same God today that gave his only begotten son then.

The same love of God that first created man and the same love that has sustained God’s presence to save his children and all those that will
believe from the condemnation, shame, oppression and exploitation of this world is the same love that is present and available this day, tomorrow and forever.

If we dare shift our trust from the promises of people, forward into the promises of God; our faith will open new pathways of understanding, opportunity and divine promise.

Trust the voice of God within that has spoken his promises and thoughts for you to you through you. Trust that what God has spoken to you about you is true and allow your trust in God to heal, set free and deliver the blessings of God into your life and living.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your path.Proverbs 3:5 & 6
