Isaiah 55:8-9
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.
For as the Heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts your thoughts.
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end (hope and a future – NIV).
Family, today’s word of edification is a word of inspiration calling us to a place in our faith where we believe that the goodness of the lord is our inheritance.
In Isaiah 55:8-9 God informs us that his thoughts, his ways are not only not our ways, but are higher than anything manifested on earth.
This scripture provides us an anchor understanding and lens for how we are to see our relationship with God. Placing anything manifested on earth as a lower, foundational, infancy manifestation of God’s creative power. As such we cannot see ourselves through the lens of our earthly existence alone.
God is calling us to open ourselves to a higher existence beyond the things, feelings and bodies manifested on earth. This requires belief. For our faith is anchored in our belief that God is. That God created us and all. And that God sent a pathway, through the spirit of truth and Jesus Christ, out of the confusion and false existence miraged on earth.
What therefore are we called to believe through our faith as the promises of God for his manifested and experienced goodness?
Jeremiah 29:11 informs us directly.
God is calling us, inviting us; to believe and to know that his thoughts for us are solely thoughts of peace, and not of evil that we may receive the expected end, that is the manifestation of the original promise to Adam passed down to and through Abraham, made available through Jesus Christ.
As we know and see daily, the thoughts of this world are frequently evil, harmful, disrespectful framed in fear anchored in past transgressions manifested onto one from another.
The Lord’s call in these days is for his children, his families, his houses, his nations to trust that which he has communicated to you about you and desires for you. To step out of the lower, base level, reactive thinking of this world and elevate your spirit led existence into a place of divine promise.
Each and everyone of us that have heard from the lord, knows that which God has told you he desires for you. God has given you a vision of what his manifested peace can and will be in your life, if you believe, trust, and allow him access to bring it forward. God has shown you the seeds of hope that he has planted in you, around you and for you that will manifest his goodness and grace in your future forward.
Today, this week, this month, this year, each breath; reconnect with the spirit of truth that is God and allow him to remind you and restore in you that which he desires for you that is his good and perfect will for your life and living.
For his good and perfect fruit is your inherited endless supply on earth and is present, ready, and waiting if we dare to believe and trust so that we can receive.
Romans 12:2 (NIV)
Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is– his good, pleasing, and perfect will.
